And all you can do is point out her dress . Which mindset of era are you from ? The mughals ? She will wear what she feels like . You dont get to tell her . For a fact just by playing this instrument (which women weren’t even allowed to touch just few decades ago) she is breaking the traditions. Why would she want to “dress traditional” which she might not even be comfortable wearing to fit into those aesthetics and sensibilities?

She once told me;"I don't feel I belong to any gharana" and in the same conversation:"You don't want a student to be stuck with you the rest of your life", "Open up your mind!".Time and disappointment have taught me the wisdom of her philosophy.
